Internet and Entertainment Safety

While students are on summer break, no doubt they are spending countless hours in front of the TV, in the movie theater and on the computer.  Are you concerned about whether a particular movie is a good choice or if a particular website is safe?  Common Sense Media is an organization that provides resources for parents and educators about their children’s  media choices.  Check it out using the link below.

Be involved in your child’s media decisions!  It’s a big task but this website makes it lot easier.

Safe Environment Training

 All volunteers must be fingerprinted and go through a Safe Environment meeting. Fingerprinting must be done once and Safe Enviornment trainings need to be completed every year.

 Meetings for the Safe Enviornment trainings will be on September 22 and October 13 at 6PM. If you are planning on working in the class or going on any of our field trips YOU MUST BE FINGERPRINTED AND HAVE GONE THROUGH THE TRAINING. NO EXCEPTIONS!! No other dates are scheduled for this training.  This is for the safety of our students.  Please contact the office at 209-722-7496 if you have any questions.
