Follies Dancer

Those of you from Merced probably remember the Follies that were held every two years from the 1950’s until 1992.  The Follies, which benefited the local hospitals, raised funds with a variety show type stage  production.  This year, OLM School is bringing back the magic of Follies!  It’s a song, dance and comedy extravaganza you won’t want to miss.  Our production, written by Eric Bocks and choreographed by Jane Vann-Bryan, features special guest stars Mayor Ellie Wooten, Supervisor John Pedrozo, Doug Fluetsch, Merced College President Ben Duran, Pat Lunney, Sheriff Mark Pazin and many other local talents.

We are issuing a special invitation to all former “Follies Girls” to join us on stage for a song, please call and let us know which performance you will attend.

Show dates are Friday, April 3 and Saturday, April 4 at 8:00 p.m. and a matinee on Sunday, April 5 at 2:00 p.m.  All performances take place at the Merced College Theater.

Gold seats are available for the Saturday show only.  The ticket price is $100 and includes the following:  best seats in the house, pre-show cocktail party, and listing in the program

Patron seats are available for all shows.  The ticket price is $50 and includes preferred seating and a listing in the program
